The EU-funded project “Young Civil Servants Scholarship Scheme Albania” organized a promotional ceremony on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at 09:30-10:30, in the premises of the Prime Minister’s Office, at COD (Centre for Openness and Dialogue) to introduce the 15 successful candidates of the scholarship fund for 2017.
The EU Delegation to Albania, in cooperation with Ecole Nationale d’Administration – in the position of the implementing body (France) – the Department of Public Administration, the Albanian School of Public Administration and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs launched the application process to select 15 civil servants form the central public administration and send them to a 4 months training programme to France, Luxembourg and Brussels. The selection process was conducted pursuant to the standards set in advance between the implementing partners, taking into consideration the previous similar experiences.
The launching commenced with welcoming speeches by the Deputy Prime Minister of Albania Send Mesi and the Head of the EU Delegation to Albania Ambassador Romana Vlahutin. The event focused on the relevance of the programme, expectations of the scholars, the added value, training offer and the benefit institutions and scholars will gain from this training.
